This release introduces several new Service Opportunities features that give you increased capabilities to search for and filter accepted opportunities, download service opportunity information, and convert a service opportunity into a long-term relationship with the customer by enrolling their generator for monitoring in FLEET.
Filter Accepted Service Opportunities by Status
You are now able to filter Accepted service opportunities on the Service Opportunities page by one or more opportunity statuses so that you can more easily find specific opportunities that you want to follow up on.
Apply a Status Filter
- On the Service Opportunities page, click the Filter icon to display the "hidden menu" as shown in the picture below.
- Select the Opportunity Status down arrow to reveal the list of opportunity statuses.
- Select the check boxes next to the status(es) you want to filter by. Options include:
- Accept
- Contact
- Service
- Schedule
- Complete
- The Accepted grid data is updated to reflect the selected filter(s).
Remove a Status Filter
- On the Service Opportunities page, click the Filter icon to display the "hidden menu" as shown in the picture above if not already displayed.
- Select the Opportunity Status down arrow to reveal the list of opportunity statuses.
- Deselect the check box of each status you want to remove filtering.
- The Accepted grid data is updated to reflect the deselected filter(s). Note: You can clear all filters by clicking the Clear Filters “X” to the right of the Opportunity Status filter dropdown (shown above).
Increased Visibility to Applied Status Filters on the Service Opportunities Page
We have added new visual indicators in the Accepted section of the Service Opportunities page to make it very clear which status filters are applied as shown below.
You can remove a Service Opportunities status filter that is applied by doing any of the following:
- Click the “x” in the filter display “pill” (shown above).
- Uncheck the status in the Opportunity Status filter dropdown (shown above).
- Click the Clear Filters “X” to the right of the Opportunity Status filter dropdown (shown above). Note: This will clear all filters.
Find Service Opportunities using Keyword Search
You are now able to use one or more words to quickly find a specific service opportunity that you have accepted so you can view and update the opportunity, if necessary.
Search by Keyword
- On the Service Opportunities page, click the Filter icon to display the "hidden menu" as shown in the picture below.
- Click in the “Filter by keyword” text box and enter one or more words to search Accepted service opportunity records.
- The Accepted grid data is updated to reflect any records that contain the entered keyword(s).
Remove Keyword Search
- On the Service Opportunities page, click the Filter icon to display the "hidden menu" as shown in the picture above if not already displayed.
- Click in the “Filter by keyword” text box to the right of the keyword(s) and click the Backspace, Back, or Delete button on your keyboard. Note: You can clear all filters by clicking the Clear Filters “X” to the right of the Opportunity Status filter dropdown (shown above).
- The Accepted grid data is updated to reflect the deselected filter(s).
Additional Notes:
- It is important to understand that the “Filter by Keyword” option applies the keyword filter against the service opportunity records that are present in the Accepted grid. For example, if you are searching for all records that require a specific type of service and enter “scheduled maintenance” in the keyword filter, and your list view is filtered to Contact status: a record will not return in your filter results if there are not any records that have a type of service of “scheduled maintenance” currently in a Contact status.
- If you are using the keyword filter to find a specific unit in your fleet and get the “No Accepted Opportunities. Please verify your filter selections.” message, please review the filters you have applied and expand your selections as necessary.
Enroll a Service Opportunity
You can now enroll a generator that was part of a service opportunity while on the Service Opportunities details page and have the convenience of generator details readily available on the page!
You will begin the Enrollment process by selecting the Enroll in FLEET button.
If the generator is already enrolled in your FLEET, you will see the View Generator Details Page button that you can use to view the details page for that monitored generator.
If the generator is enrolled in another Dealer’s FLEET, the Enroll in FLEET button will be disabled.
You will continue with the FLEET enrollment process by confirming and/or entering account holder information and generator information and adding a device as you have in the past.
Note: You are still able to enroll a generator using the “Add New Generator” button on the Generators page or finish enrollment of a generator by selecting the “Enroll” button on the Unmonitored page.
Download Information about Accepted Service Opportunities
You can now view and manage accepted Service Opportunity customer and generator information outside of FLEET by exporting it into a CSV file format that can be opened in applications like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Notepad and other database access tools.
To Export Accepted Service Opportunities
- On the Service Opportunities page, click the CSV icon above the Accepted grid (shown above).
- The CSV file format will automatically be downloaded to the default downloads directory and defined by the web browser's settings. Below is an example of how your computer might display a successful download.
Note: Any filters or search criteria applied to your Generator status dashboard at the time of export, will be applied to the data provided in the exported File.
Service Opportunities No Longer Expire on the Weekend
We have changed the time period new Service Opportunities are available to you. Service Opportunities will no longer expire on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays to allow you adequate time to review opportunities that have been assigned on non-business days.
