Watch a Short Feature Demo:
Set Up Multiple Notification Recipients
Service Providers participating in the Service Opportunities program can now set up multiple notification recipients for new service opportunities. This allows you to disperse notifications to multiple staff members, making sure that no service lead goes unnoticed. Previously, you configured and managed only one notification recipient for Service Opportunities in the Account Settings page. Now, you can configure any recipient (new and existing) to receive Service Opportunities notifications on the Notification Settings page. This should:
- Decrease expirations due to a 48-hour time lapse
- Unlock additional control for multiple Fleet admins
- Reduce the workload for sole service opportunity managers
- Increase customer acquisition and improve customer satisfaction
Note: You can no longer manage a Service Opportunities recipient on the Account Settings page. This is done on the Notification Settings page.
Significant Interface Improvements for Notification Recipient Management
This release also makes it easier to add, update, and remove notification recipients and choose a notification channel. Choose between email and SMS, or receive both!
Update contact information for an existing recipient if changes have been made to their notification information, channel preference, or notification category (including newly added service opportunities).
Remove recipients that you no longer want to receive notifications.
How to Add Multiple Notification Recipients:
Create New Recipient
On the notification settings page in the account menu, click “Create New” to open a new “Recipient Details” window. In this window, you can input the recipient’s information and select the Service Opportunities option. When done, click save. Service Opportunity alerts will now be sent to this recipient, alongside reminder notifications when there is a Service Opportunity assigned to them that is waiting for a response.
Manage Existing Recipients
To add or remove service opportunity notifications for an existing recipient, click “Edit Recipient Details” on the desired contact. From there, the details window will open, and you can select notifications preferences under the service opportunity section. When done, click save. Service Opportunity alerts will now be sent to this recipient.
You will see the following text next to any recipient:
Note: When you are opted into the Service Opportunities program you must have at least one notification recipient configured. When only one recipient exists for the dealer, the recipient cannot be removed.
Select an Existing Recipient During the Service Opportunity Opt-In Process
To help you save time, you can now search for and select an existing recipient to receive Service Opportunity notifications during the program opt-in process. You can only select from enabled recipients. Upon completion of opt-in with the recipient, the added recipient will be displayed on the notification settings page with Service Opportunities notifications enabled for them.
