In some rare cases, a generator that has been added with a subscription to FLEET must be canceled or removed. This may occur due to a customer being enrolled by error, or perhaps a customer has chosen to terminate services with you as a provider. Whatever the reason, the ability to cancel a subscription in FLEET has been added to the FLEET interface to allow a dealer to manage the cancellation of a subscription without a phone call to support for assistance. Unfortunately, for accounting reasons, every subscription cancellation will not be credit back to the dealer.
The terms for crediting of Subscription Licenses when canceling or removing a generator are listed below:
When using the Cancel or Remove feature results in the canceling of a Dealer Managed subscription, the system will automatically credit a license to your FLEET inventory for a subscription canceled within 45 days of the start date. The following exceptions apply:
- Rollover Licenses (a subscription that was originally paid for by the homeowner and was transferred to FLEET on enrollment) will not receive a credit, as a FLEET subscription license was not consumed at the time of enrollment.
- Promo Licenses (subscription licenses that were credited to the dealer as part of a promotion) will not receive a credit, as a paid license was not consumed at the time of enrollment.
