FLEET Release 4.11.0 10/13/2022
Disconnected Devices – Improvements
This article will include:
Generator Status Dashboard (see reference image below):
- New Column: Device Status
We have replaced the existing “Communications” column with the Device Status column, which will be included in the grid view by default.
The device status will include an icon for the connection type, and will be green in color when online or greyed out with a slash when offline. Hovering over specific generator’s device status will display the date/time that the Device has been either online or offline since. - Generator Status: Disconnected
When a generator’s device has been offline for the defined period of time, the Generator Status will be updated to Disconnected in the Generator Status Column. - Summary tiles: Disconnected
The Disconnected tile will count only those generators whose status is disconnected. Offline generators which are not yet Disconnected will not be included in the count.
Generator Details Page (see reference image below):
The current status tile will now include the Device Status in the header of the tile, along with the date and timestamp of the last communication from the generator’s connection device.
- When the generator is Online:
Latest reported status will be displayed (current functionality). - When the generator is Offline:
“Status is temporarily unavailable.” “The communication device is experiencing an interruption in connection. Status will be updated when the connection is restored.” - When the generator is Disconnected:
“Device has stopped communicating.”
“Please investigate the cause of the communication interruption. For more information: https://fleetsupport.mobilelinkgen.com/hc/en-us/articles/8662211572237”
You will also see a status event in the Status History for the Disconnected status.
