Enrolling a generator in FLEET will create a Mobile Link account for the customer. Once you have them enrolled in FLEET, it will sent a Welcome email to them. In the email there is a "get started" option. Please have them click on that, they will need to verify their email.
The email address that you enter during the Fleet enrollment, is the email address that will be used as the User ID for the customers. This should be the end users email only. Please do not use an email address for someone who works within the dealership. If an invalid email is used (for example your email or installers email you will need to re-enroll. Click here this will walk you through how to remove the generator off of that email account that is not the end users. In turn so you can enroll the generator under proper information.
Email Sent to Customer:
Will have your dealer name as well as some of their basic information. There will be a "get started" button towards bottom of the email. They will click on that and it will route them through to verify their email address to access the account.
NOTE: It is recommended that the customer set their password to something only they know, while creating their Mobile Link account.
It is important to note that the customer accepts an End User License Agreement during the process of creating their Mobile Link Account.
This Agreement is a legally binding agreement between A Company and A User and contains important terms and conditions relating to matters such as proprietary rights, indemnities, and liability.
Under no circumstances should a dealer accept an End User License Agreement on behalf of a customer.
How Does The Customer Set up Notifications?
Once the customer has verified their email, they still need to set up notifications. This is not something that you can do on FLEET. The notification option you see in FLEET is for people within your dealership, not end users. You can send them instructions on how to set up the notifications, they will not receive any until they do. Instructions to provide to my customers for notifications
