In many cases, more than just status information is important when tracking customer service interactions. For this reason, FLEET has incorporated a customer comment function to allow dealers to track any relevant information about a generator. FLEET allows you to add, edit, and remove comments to any generator.
Note: These comments/notes are not visible to the customer
To add a comment to a generator:
- Begin from the Generator Status dashboard.
- Locate the generator for which the comment should be added.
- Click the Details button located on the right side of the screen.
- The Generator Details page appears
- Scroll down and select the Comments tab toward the bottom of the screen.
- The Comment tab appears.
- Enter the desired comment content in the Add a Comment textbox, then click Submit.
- The Comment Has been successfully added to the generator.
To edit an existing comment on a generator:
- Begin from the Generator Status dashboard.
- Locate the generator for which the comment should be edited.
- Click the Details button located on the right side of the screen.
- The Generator Details page appears
- Scroll down and select the Comments tab toward the bottom of the screen.
- The Comment tab appears.
- Click the icon below the comment that needs to be edited.
- Edit the comment as needed
- Once the desired changes have been completed, click Update.
- The comment has been successfully edited.
To remove an existing comment on a generator:
- Begin from the Generator Status dashboard.
- Locate the generator for which the comment should be removed.
- Click the Details button located on the right side of the screen.
- The Generator Details page appears
- Scroll down and select the Comments tab toward the bottom of the screen.
- The Comment tab appears.
- Click the icon below the comment that needs to be removed.
- A confirmation modal will appear, click OK.
- The comment has been successfully removed.
