We are excited to introduce Fleet’s new Incident Management feature: A powerful tool designed to help you track and manage generator issues, prioritize customers with active alarms or faults, and improve triage efficiency for increased generator uptime.
You will now be able to use “Incidents” to acknowledge your awareness of a generator issue and record your progress towards resolving the issue using Incident statuses and comments. The Incidents page will allow you to view all active incidents from one single dashboard, making it easy to track your various Incidents, ensuring that problems get resolved quickly. You can also filter your Generators dashboard with incidents, allowing you to focus on the issues that need to be addressed first.
Incident Creation:
On the Generator Details page, you can create a new incident for a generator in your Fleet by clicking the “Create Incident” button in the generator status tile:
You will be prompted to provide a title for the Incident:
After providing an incident title, click the “Create” button to proceed with creating an Incident for the generator.
You will see a green success message informing you that the incident has been created.
Viewing an Incident on Generator Details:
When viewing the generator details for a generator with an active incident, you can find the Incident information underneath the Generator Status tile.
To advance an Incident to the next stage, simply click the “Next Step” button. You can also revert an Incident back to the previous stage using the “Previous Step” button.
Use the “Add Comment” button to add comments to the incident. Comments are recorded with the current stage of the Incident when they’re created:
When the incident is resolved and no further action is needed, use the “Complete Incident” button to close the active incident. You do not need to complete all stages to Complete the Incident. Incidents can be completed during any stage.
Active & Completed Incident Lists:
You can track all your active Incidents on the new “Incidents” page. When there has been at least one incident created for your Dealer number, you will see the Incidents page as an option in the Fleet navigation menu (left side bar).
Active incidents are presented in a list view, with the ability to sort the Incidents list using the “Date Created”, “Incident Status” and “Last Updated” columns.
Click the “View” button to access the Generator Details page and access the incident details.
Using Incidents when Filtering the Generators Dashboard:
You can filter your list of generators by incident on the “Generators” dashboard, in combination with the existing status filters:
You can choose to include or exclude generators with the “Active” incident filter.
In the following example, generators with an active incident are filtered out to focus on those that have not yet been triaged (this was done by selecting the Incident filter “None”):
We hope that Fleet’s Incident Management feature will become an essential tool for your service operations and look forward to your feedback!
